On March 10, the General Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province unveiled a strategic plan. This plan outlines a commitment to advancing research in cutting-edge 6G technologies, encompassing ultra-high-speed optoelectronic terahertz communication, high-speed all-optical communication, integrated air-space-ground-sea communication networks, and microwave/millimeter-wave active phased arrays. Concurrently, the province will energetically foster the research, development, and industrialization of core components such as next-generation digital baseband chips, RF front-end chips, and 6G modules, alongside new-generation network communication equipment. This initiative aims to propel the integrated and innovative progression of communication technologies, including 5G-A, 6G, and satellite internet.
