SK Hynix has introduced a new generation of LPDDR6 memory modules, utilizing a 1cnm DRAM process, with a capacity of 16Gb and a transmission rate of 14.4Gbps, reaching the upper limit of the JEDEC standard. This makes it the fastest publicly specified LPDDR6 product currently available. The module is optimized for on-device AI scenarios, significantly enhancing data processing speed and energy efficiency. Samsung has also launched a 16Gb LPDDR6 module with a speed of 12.8Gbps, using a 12nm process. SK Hynix and Samsung will showcase their LPDDR6 solutions at ISSCC 2026.
