On February 11, news emerged that Huachuang Micro, a subsidiary of the 14th Research Institute under the China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), has recently accomplished a significant milestone. The company successfully completed the tape-out and subsequent testing of a high-performance processor and its inaugural AI processing chip. This achievement represents a notable advancement in the realms of RISC-V high-end processors and AI processors. The high-performance processor leverages a multi-core heterogeneous architecture, delivering robust computing power tailored for high-performance computing tasks at the edge. Meanwhile, the AI processing chip boasts compatibility with over 90 widely utilized AI algorithm models, rendering it well-suited for intelligent processing scenarios at both the edge and end-side.
