In January 2026, Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA and widely regarded as the "godfather" of AI, embarked on his inaugural tour of China, with Shanghai marking his first destination. Before attending NVIDIA's annual meeting in Shanghai, he paid a visit to the Jinde Vegetable Market located on Rushan Road in the Lujiazui Subdistrict. There, he engaged with vendors, purchased roasted chestnuts and candied haws, and distributed red envelopes signed by himself, each containing 600 yuan in cash. Subsequently, he traveled to Beijing's Wangfujing area to indulge in Yunnan cuisine and took photos with the attendees. On January 27th, Huang made a notable appearance at the Futian CBD in Shenzhen, where he enjoyed a beef hotpot meal with friends, praising the freshness and delectability of the Shenzhen beef. During his China tour, Huang also took part in the New Year celebrations and supplier appreciation events organized by NVIDIA's branches in Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen.
