According to TrendForce's most recent market survey, during the first quarter of 2026, DRAM manufacturers are poised to make a significant shift. They will allocate advanced manufacturing processes and introduce new production capacities on a large scale, specifically targeting server and High - Bandwidth Memory (HBM) applications. This move is aimed at meeting the soaring demand for AI servers. However, this strategic reallocation will lead to a severe tightening of supply in other market segments. Consequently, it's anticipated that the overall contract prices for general - purpose DRAM will experience a substantial quarter - on - quarter increase, ranging from 55% to 60%.

In parallel, NAND Flash manufacturers have been implementing capacity control measures. Additionally, the strong demand from the server sector has been squeezing out resources for other applications. As a result of these combined factors, contract prices for various NAND Flash products are projected to keep climbing, with an expected rise of 33% to 38%.
