According to relevant reports, TSMC has kicked off with an initial monthly production capacity of roughly 35,000 wafers for its cutting-edge 2nm (N2) process technology. By the end of 2026, this capacity is anticipated to soar to 140,000 wafers, comfortably exceeding the prior market forecast of 100,000 wafers. At present, TSMC's 2nm production capacity is sourced from Phase 1 of Fab 20 in Hsinchu and Phase 1 of Fab 22 in Kaohsiung. The Phase 2 expansions of these massive fabrication plants are slated to commence production within this year, and will also be exclusively devoted to the 2nm production line.
