On December 30, StarSemi disclosed on an interactive platform that its automotive - grade LiDAR SPAD chips, namely the SS905HP (featuring a high number of channels) and the SS901 (with a low number of channels), are capable of supporting long - distance applications. These chips offer resolutions spanning from over 1000 lines to 192 lines, which makes them well - suited for L3 and above autonomous driving scenarios. At present, these two chips have reached the customer integration stage. The first batch of products is scheduled for mass production in the first half of 2026.
