As reported by ETNews, the on-device AI prowess of Samsung's upcoming flagship mobile processor, the Exynos 2600, is set for a substantial leap. Samsung has inked a deal with Nota, a South Korean firm specializing in AI optimization technologies. Under this agreement, Nota will supply core technology capable of slashing AI model sizes by more than 90%, all while maintaining the accuracy of model inference. The linchpin of this partnership is Nota's proprietary NetsPresso platform. This platform excels at efficiently optimizing and deploying AI models across diverse hardware settings. It enables the seamless functioning of large-scale generative AI models on the Exynos 2600, thereby minimizing dependence on cloud network connectivity. Moreover, Nota will play a pivotal role in the next phase of development for Samsung's Exynos AI Studio toolchain. It will focus on streamlining automated processes, simplifying development complexities, and accelerating the product's journey to market.
