According to reports, TSMC has decided to advance the mass production timeline of its 3nm advanced process at its second plant in Arizona from the originally planned 2028 to 2027. The Arizona factory is one of TSMC's largest investment projects, with a total investment of up to USD 300 billion. Currently, the first factory has commenced 4nm process production, and the second factory plans to commence mass production of the 3nm process in 2027.
