Unigroup Guoxin Microelectronics made a public announcement stating that it is in the process of formulating plans to acquire either a controlling interest or complete ownership of Renesas Semiconductor Technology Corp. The acquisition strategy involves issuing shares and making cash payments, with transaction partners including Nanchang Jian'en Semiconductor Industry Investment Center (Limited Partnership), Beijing Guangmeng Semiconductor Industry Investment Center (Limited Partnership), and Tianjin Ruixin Semiconductor Industry Investment Center (Limited Partnership). Additionally, the company intends to secure supplementary funding to support the transaction.

It is anticipated that this deal will not be classified as a significant asset restructuring; however, it does qualify as a related-party transaction. In light of these developments, the trading of the company's stocks and convertible bonds will be temporarily suspended from December 30, 2025. The company expects to unveil the detailed transaction plan within a maximum of 10 trading days thereafter.
