Recently, the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, a processor that had been the subject of long-standing rumors due to its dual 3D V-Cache design, has made an appearance in the Geekbench and PassMark benchmark databases. This sighting not only confirms the existence of this highly anticipated model but also suggests that the initial batch of samples has already been dispatched to partners for real-world performance testing.
This cutting-edge processor is equipped with 16 cores and 32 threads. What sets it apart is that both of its CCDs (Core Chiplet Dies) are outfitted with 3D V-Cache technology. As a result, it boasts an impressive total cache capacity of 192MB. According to the test results, its performance in both single-core and multi-core scenarios is on par with that of its predecessor, the 9950X3D.
