According to insiders familiar with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL), production at the Zhenkouli in Yifeng County-Jianxiawo lithium mine, located in Fengxin County and operated by Yichun Shidai New Energy Mining Co., Ltd., is anticipated to recommence around the Spring Festival.
In August of this year, CATL announced on its investor interaction platform that mining activities at the Yichun Jianxiawo lithium mine project had been temporarily halted. This suspension was attributed to the expiration of the mining license on August 9. In November, the Mineral Rights Management Division of the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Natural Resources made public the evaluation report detailing the proceeds from the transfer of mining rights for this lithium mine. Accompanying this report were relevant parameter tables and a letter of commitment.
Furthermore, on December 19, the Yichun Tendering Website in Jiangxi Province issued the first notice regarding the environmental impact assessment information for this project, marking another step forward in its operational resumption.
