On December 17, Anhui Sixiang Semiconductor Materials Technology Co., Ltd. marked a significant milestone by hosting the groundbreaking ceremony for its semiconductor components headquarters and production base within the Hefei High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. Strategically positioned at the southwestern junction of Xiyou Road and Dalongshan Road in the High-Tech Zone, this ambitious project boasts a substantial investment of 750 million yuan. Spanning approximately 40 acres, the site encompasses a total construction area of roughly 46,000 square meters. Anticipated to reach completion and commence operations by 2026, the facility is poised to play a pivotal role in the industry. Once fully operational, it is projected to annually manufacture 276,000 semiconductor components, including silicon electrodes and silicon rings, thereby accelerating the localization endeavors within the semiconductor industry supply chain.
