The soon-to-be-released AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D processor has just made its initial appearance in the PassMark database, complete with a benchmark result. The figures reveal a single-core score of 4632 and an overall score of 41840. When compared to the current Ryzen 7 9800X3D, this indicates a performance enhancement of nearly 5% in single-core tasks and roughly 4.7% in multi-core operations. This particular processor is built on the Zen 5 architecture, boasting 8 cores and 16 threads. It comes equipped with 96MB of L3 cache, has a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 120W, and can reach a maximum boost frequency of up to 5.6GHz. At present, it's anticipated that the processor will have its official launch at the CES event in January 2026.
