There has been a growing incidence of frequent burnouts in the 12V-2x6 16-pin power connector of NVIDIA graphics cards. However, NVIDIA officials have yet to issue a public response, leaving users with no choice but to depend entirely on the brand's after-sales support. Recently, a gamer's RTX 5080 FE public version graphics card also succumbed to this issue, yet it received no official resolution. Initially, when the player unplugged the power cord, he inadvertently damaged the socket retention clip. Despite his careful handling, upon reaching out to NVIDIA customer service, he was initially informed that everything was functioning normally and that a simple reinstallation would rectify the issue. Although the case was subsequently escalated to a specialized team, it was ultimately concluded that the damage was caused by the user and thus fell outside the scope of warranty coverage. This incident has fueled user dissatisfaction, particularly in light of previous instances where high-priced graphics cards were replaced at no cost, highlighting perceived double standards in NVIDIA's after-sales service.
