On the morning of December 6th, the inauguration ceremony for the Dongguan Institute of Materials Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was held in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. Co-established by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the People's Government of Guangdong Province, and the People's Government of Dongguan Municipality, the institute aims to address cutting-edge fundamental scientific issues and key application challenges in the field of new materials, foster the development of new-quality productive forces, and support the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in becoming an international hub for scientific and technological innovation.
