In the sphere of quantum communication, his team has not only addressed and closed security vulnerabilities but has also successfully established a metropolitan-area quantum entanglement network and developed the 'Micius' satellite. In the domain of quantum computing, the team has engineered the 'Jiuzhang' and 'Zuchongzhi' series of prototype machines. These advancements have positioned China as the first nation to attain quantum computing supremacy across two distinct physical systems. Moreover, they have made substantial strides in the research of ultracold atomic quantum simulation.
