On December 2, it was reported that Samsung Electronics has completed the development of its sixth-generation high-bandwidth memory (HBM4) chips and has now entered the preparation stage for mass production. Currently, Samsung is providing NVIDIA with HBM4 prototype samples for quality testing, with the goal of completing development by the end of the year. Once the samples pass the tests, Samsung will immediately commence mass production and has already established a system for instant mass production.
