NVIDIA has officially announced that it stands as the inaugural and, at present, the sole customer to secure TSMC's A16 process node. This advanced process is slated to commence mass production in the latter half of 2026. It will be utilized in NVIDIA's forthcoming Feynman series GPUs, which are projected to make their debut in 2028. NVIDIA expects to receive its inaugural batch of samples in 2026 and embark on the preparatory phase for mass production in 2027. For context, other tech giants like Apple have preemptively reserved capacity for TSMC's even more sophisticated N2 (2nm) process.
