From November 17 to 19, 2025, the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society’s Semiconductor Equipment Branch convened its inaugural meeting in Lin'an, Hangzhou. This significant event was organized by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, with the Semiconductor Equipment Branch, the School of Mechanical Engineering at Zhejiang University, and several other partners co-hosting the proceedings. The conference program featured an official launch ceremony, keynote speeches by invited experts, academic discussions, and showcases of corporate achievements, drawing an audience of over 350 specialists and scholars from universities, research institutions, and leading companies nationwide. At the event, the Semiconductor Equipment Branch was formally established, and the initial list of group standards to be developed was unveiled.
