The SIA, established in 1977, acts as a pivotal representative body for the semiconductor sector in the United States. With a wealth of experience spanning over three decades in the semiconductor field and an impressive career history, Lisa Su has adeptly steered AMD through a significant transformation. Additionally, she has held significant roles in several other renowned companies. She earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received the prestigious Robert N. Noyce Award in 2020.
