On November 18, the State Administration for Market Regulation convened the "Quality Strengthening the Chain" Achievement Exchange and Promotion Conference in Beijing, focusing on the industrial application and quality enhancement of China-made automotive chips. The conference summarized the interim accomplishments of the "Quality Strengthening the Chain" initiative, officially unveiled the upgraded "Technical Framework for Certification and Inspection of Automotive Chips 2.0," and concurrently launched an expert database and a digital platform dedicated to the certification and inspection of China-made automotive chips. This milestone signifies a crucial step forward in China's endeavor to establish a self-reliant and controllable quality assurance system for automotive chips. By devising a holistic certification and inspection framework, surmounting critical standardization challenges, and constructing a digital platform, China has pioneered the creation of a technical system that is both tailored to its national context and reflective of industrial realities.
