Ronbay Technology Emerges as the Top Supplier of Cathode Materials for Sodium-ion Batteries to CATL, Capturing Approximately 60% Market Share

On November 17, Ronbay Technology released a statement announcing that it had officially inked a significant agreement with CATL. According to the terms of the agreement, Ronbay Technology is set to become the principal supplier of sodium-ion battery cathode powder to CATL. In turn, CATL has pledged to source no less than 60% of its total annual cathode powder requirements from Ronbay Technology. Should the annual procurement volume hit 500,000 metric tons or surpass this figure, Ronbay Technology has committed to offering even more competitive prices by further cutting costs. This agreement, which came into effect on the day of its signing, will remain in force until December 31, 2029.
