Recently, the 6th CCF Conference on Integrated Circuit Design and Automation (CCF CAD 2025), organized by the China Computer Federation, took place successfully in Ningbo from November 1st to 3rd, 2025. At this conference, a paper named Dynamic Truncation Arithmetic for Ultra-Low Power AI: A 4-2 Compressor Approach Optimized by Ward Clustering caught the spotlight. The author of this paper is Wei Yuexin, an undergraduate student majoring in Microelectronics Science and Engineering (Class of 2023) at Anhui University. Under the guidance of his supervisor, Yao Liang, Wei Yuexin's work earned him the Nomination Award for Excellent Paper.
