On September 9th, AOSONG Semiconductor's 8-Inch MEMS Specialty Chip IDM (Integrated Device Manufacturer) Industrial Base Project officially kicked off production. Boasting a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan, this project covers the entire spectrum of activities, ranging from research and development, design, and manufacturing to packaging, testing, and terminal applications. The project is set to establish several key facilities: a mass production line dedicated to 8-inch MEMS specialty sensor chips, a rapid research and development line, an innovation and research center focused on intelligent sensors, a reliability testing center for automotive-grade sensors, and a scientific research center that fosters collaboration between industry, universities, and research institutions.
