Alibaba and ByteDance Keep a Close Eye on B30A Chip: Price Soars Twofold, Yet Performance Surges Five Times

On September 5, industry insiders revealed that Chinese tech behemoths like Alibaba and ByteDance have developed a keen interest in Nvidia's artificial intelligence chips. At present, these firms are in the process of confirming the fulfillment status of their H20 chip orders with Nvidia. Moreover, they are keeping a vigilant watch on Nvidia's soon-to-be-launched new B30A chip, which is built upon the Blackwell architecture. The B30A chip is tailored specifically for the Chinese market. It delivers roughly half the performance of Nvidia's top-tier B300 product. As planned, Nvidia is set to send out samples of the B30A chip to Chinese customers in September 2025.
