Raycus Laser has triumphantly launched a pioneering fiber laser that integrates semiconductor direct pumping technology with a MOPA (Master Oscillator Power Amplifier) structure, achieving a near-fundamental mode output power of 10,000 watts. Leveraging independently developed round modified ytterbium-doped fiber, this laser boasts an impressive output power of up to 10.1kW and a beam quality M² value of 1.13, thereby establishing a new global benchmark. The project team has surmounted numerous technological hurdles, harmonizing high power with exceptional beam quality, and bridging the international technological gap in single-mode 10,000-watt fiber lasers. This innovation is poised to catalyze advancements in sectors such as aerospace, high-precision processing, and laser nuclear fusion.
