The World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2025 kicked off on July 26th at the prestigious Shanghai World Expo Center. At the event, Huawei made a groundbreaking debut by showcasing its Ascend 384 super-node, also known as the Atlas 900 A3 SuperPoD, offline for the very first time. Leveraging a cutting-edge super-node architecture, this innovative product employs advanced bus technology to facilitate high-bandwidth, low-latency interconnections among 384 Neural Processing Units (NPUs). This breakthrough addresses the persistent communication bottlenecks within clusters and enables efficient resource scheduling. Huawei's exhibit booth provided a comprehensive showcase of the Ascend computing platform's innovative capabilities and its wide-ranging practical applications across numerous industries.
