In the "Sword Unsheathed on the Huangpu River·2025" special law enforcement operation, the Shanghai Municipal Office of Internet Information Technology identified several companies offering AI-generated content services that posed security risks. These companies neglected to conduct mandatory security assessments and implement necessary measures, leading to content that violated personal information rights and interests, as well as containing illegal information. Despite repeated warnings and requests for rectification, some enterprises continued to operate related functions in violation of regulations. Consequently, these enterprises have been investigated and legally sanctioned. The primary violations included infringement of others' information rights and interests, reputational rights, and privacy rights, as well as the production of pornographic and violent content. Relevant authorities will persist in addressing the misuse of AI and rigorously enforce laws against illegal and non-compliant applications.
