Bloomberg reports that the removal was mandated by a court order, compelling OpenAI to halt the use of the "io" name in promotional contexts following a trademark infringement complaint lodged by another AI firm, iyO. OpenAI has affirmed that the acquisition agreement remains intact and that it is currently evaluating its legal recourse.
