Meta recently made an attempt to acquire Safe Superintelligence, a company founded by OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever. However, this acquisition bid was rejected. Following this setback, Meta shifted its focus to poaching the company's co-founder, Daniel Gross, and his partner, Nate Friedman. Furthermore, Meta intends to invest in NFDG, a venture capital fund jointly managed by these two executives. Safe Superintelligence, which was established just a year ago, has already attained a valuation of $32 billion. Ilya Sutskever has turned down both Meta's acquisition offer and a personal employment offer.
