Reuters reports that Foxconn and NVIDIA are in negotiations to introduce humanoid robots into their newly constructed factory in Houston, aiming to have them operational by the first quarter of 2026. Should this endeavor prove successful, it would mark a pivotal milestone: NVIDIA products would be produced with robotic assistance for the first time, while Foxconn would deploy such robots on the production line of its AI server factory for the first time. While both companies have refrained from public comment on this matter, industry insiders have disclosed that the Houston factory, with its recently built and spacious facilities, presents an optimal setting for the deployment of humanoid robots. Foxconn has already conducted tests with humanoid robots manufactured by China's UBTECH and intends to unveil two self-developed humanoid robots at its annual technology conference. For NVIDIA, this strategic move signifies a significant advancement in integrating humanoid robot technology into AI server manufacturing.
