At the HDC 2025 conference, Huawei unveiled that HarmonyOS 6 has embarked on its developer Beta testing phase, with the official launch anticipated in the second half of the year. This iteration centers on advancements in AI, introducing the HarmonyOS Multi-Agent Framework (HMAF), enabling multiple agents to collaborate seamlessly for the execution of more intricate tasks. Concurrently, Huawei presented a preview of its in-house HarmonyOS Integrated Development Environment for Computers, DevEco Studio, aimed at fostering the growth of the computer application ecosystem. Yu Chengdong, in his address, asserted that HarmonyOS is currently enjoying its most vibrant development period, boasting over 30,000 native applications and meta-services across more than 40 terminal products, while the developer community has surpassed 8 million members. Notably, the Pura80 series of smartphones now run exclusively on the pure HarmonyOS system, eliminating the option to revert to Android versions.
