The Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2025 commenced in Dongguan on June 20th, where Yu Chengdong, Executive Director of Huawei, took to the stage to showcase the latest advancements in OpenHarmony. Today, OpenHarmony boasts a code base exceeding 130 million lines, supported by nearly 9,000 community contributors. Additionally, more than 1,200 software and hardware products have been developed and deployed across diverse industries. HarmonyOS 5 has been seamlessly integrated into over 40 Huawei terminal devices, introducing over 260 new features and fulfilling the aspirations of 2.16 million users. Yu Chengdong underscored Huawei's commitment to fostering the collaborative development and shared prosperity of the HarmonyOS ecosystem.
