Microsoft has officially announced the cessation of the Bing Search API service, encompassing all versions like Search v7 and Custom Search, effective August 11, 2025. On this date, all existing resources will be deactivated, and new user registration avenues will be closed. As an alternative, Microsoft advises developers to transition to the "Grounding with Bing Search" feature within the Azure AI Agent Service. It's important to note, however, that this feature does not grant direct access to Bing's raw search data and entails a shift in service architecture and potential cost adjustments. Therefore, developers are urged to promptly assess their requirements and devise migration plans.
