On the evening of May 14, Alibaba officially released the open-source version of Tongyi Wanxiang Wan2.1-VACE, a versatile video generation and editing model. This model boasts a comprehensive array of functionalities, encompassing text-to-video generation, image-referenced video creation, video redrawing, local editing, background extension, and duration adjustment. The open-source offering includes two versions: 1.3B and 14B, with the 1.3B variant being accessible to run on consumer-grade graphics cards. Developers can now download and explore this model on GitHub, Huggingface, and ModelScope, with future availability on the Tongyi Wanxiang official website and Alibaba Cloud Bailian.
