Among the recipients, Yu Liang, an AI engineer from Alibaba, distinguished himself by securing the title of 'National Model Worker', a distinction that marks a historic first for an Alibaba AI professional. Since joining Alibaba in 2016, Yu Liang has devoted himself to pioneering research in traffic algorithms for the City Brain project, leveraging big data to revolutionize urban transportation. Under his leadership, his team triumphantly executed numerous City Brain subprojects, surmounting formidable technical hurdles like the management of colossal data sets and effectively addressing numerous persistent challenges in urban traffic management.
