Under the guidance of Doug Field, Apple's internal robotics team is now dedicated to researching AI-driven devices, potentially setting the stage for future innovations in new product lines. Riccio, a trusted lieutenant of Tim Cook, is widely regarded by outsiders as a leading candidate for the next CEO position at Apple.
