On Tuesday, the National Advertising Division (NAD), a non-profit entity dedicated to ensuring advertising authenticity, highlighted concerns regarding Apple's marketing practices. NAD noted that Apple had indulged in exaggerated promotion, showcasing intelligent features in its advertisements that were not yet available at the time of broadcast. In response, Apple has informed NAD of its decision to permanently cease airing the TV commercial titled "A More Personal Siri," which emphasized a significant AI upgrade for Siri that was yet to be released. NAD has advised Apple to refrain from conveying the impression that features are currently available when they are, in fact, still in the pipeline.
