On April 18, 2025, the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Conference Chengdu Summit commenced. During the event, Wang Wei, Director of Tencent Cloud Intelligence Regional Solutions, made a groundbreaking announcement: Tencent Cloud's Large Model Knowledge Engine has become the first to integrate with the MCP protocol. This integration empowers users to harness the Knowledge Engine when developing applications, allowing them to either invoke tailored MCP plugins offered by the platform or incorporate their own custom MCP plugins. The Knowledge Engine platform now boasts an array of MCP Servers, including Tencent Cloud EdgeOne Pages, Tencent Location Service, and third-party services like Airbnb, Figma, and Fetch. These Servers find extensive application in diverse scenarios, ranging from professional information retrieval to webpage deployment previews and parsing tasks.
