On April 18, the Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced at a press conference hosted by the State Council Information Office that the nation's industry and information technology sector had witnessed robust growth in the first quarter of this year. Notably, the digital industry has shone brightly, marked by the rapid advancement of 5G and large AI models, leading to an 8.2% year-on-year increase in business revenue over the first two months. Furthermore, the capacity of network infrastructure has been consistently enhanced. As of the end of March, China had successfully established and activated 4.395 million 5G base stations.
