Recently, US President Trump once more voiced his displeasure with the terminology currently employed in the realm of artificial intelligence. Despite his proposal to replace the traditional abbreviation "AI" with "SI," media outlets, tech firms, and the general public continue to widely use "AI." Trump has openly criticized the media on social media platforms for persisting with "AI" and has even gone as far as to sign an executive order. This order mandates that federal government agencies adopt "Super Intelligence" or its abbreviation "SI" in official documents, policy announcements, and the like, as a substitute for "AI." Nevertheless, this renaming initiative has not yet garnered widespread acceptance within the tech industry. Major AI companies, including OpenAI and Anthropic, still adhere to using "AI" as the standard term.
