Anthropic’s Computing Power Setup Unveiled: Around 11GW of Contracted Capacity, with NVIDIA Making Up 42%

Following AI powerhouse Anthropic’s submission of its S-1 filing for going public, its foundational computing power framework has been fully revealed for the first time. At present, Anthropic has secured contracts for a total computing power capacity of roughly 11GW. NVIDIA GPUs constitute about 42% of this, equating to 4.7GW; Google TPU capacity stands at 4.5GW; Amazon Trainium collaboration capacity is at 1.2GW; and AMD GPUs make up approximately 0.8GW. On the whole, general-purpose GPUs represent about 49% of the total. Although Anthropic is heavily reliant on the NVIDIA ecosystem, it is partnering with several tech behemoths to foster a diversified computing power setup and minimize supply chain risks.
