Ant Group has launched its AI helper, Lingguang 2.0. With user authorization secured, this helper can take the initiative to pinpoint users' potential requirements by amalgamating the information and services it has access to. It carries out analysis, monitoring, and follow-up actions, and offers timely alerts at crucial junctures that demand user attention, thus facilitating uninterrupted affair management. Lingguang 2.0 has witnessed all-around enhancements in its cross-session memory, long-term task scheduling, and tool interconnection capabilities. By utilizing independent cloud hosting, it transcends the confines of single-conversation scenarios. This means tasks can keep running even after users terminate the dialogue, and it can dynamically follow up based on fresh information and status alterations. Not only does it integrate data and services within the Alipay ecosystem, but it also supports invoking tools such as MCP and CLI in open settings, thereby broadening its cross-platform collaborative potential. At present, Lingguang 2.0 comes equipped with built-in service capabilities for Alipay bills, membership, travel, as well as DingTalk, Feishu, email, Mi Home, and other applications. Its management purview has expanded from personal information and online affairs to cross-platform workflows and smart home device control. As a multimodal general-purpose AI helper introduced by Ant Group, the Lingguang App officially hit the market on November 18, 2025, and amassed over 2 million downloads within just six days. Previously, it had already extended natural language interaction to app generation and multimodal content creation, setting a precedent for a novel interactive model among AI helpers.
