South Korea's economy demonstrated resilience in the third quarter, surpassing market forecasts as the AI-driven surge propelled semiconductor exports to new heights, compensating for sluggishness in other sectors. During this period, the GDP expanded by 1.0% on a quarterly basis and 3.4% year-on-year, outstripping economists' predictions of 0.7% quarterly growth and 3.3% annual growth.
