Unitree Technology’s stock price has been on a remarkable upward trajectory, rebounding by more than 54% from its intraday low of 404.3 yuan per share on October 15th. Today, the stock even hit the daily upper limit of a 20% price increase, closing at 624 yuan per share. This surge has propelled its market capitalization back above 252.4 billion yuan.

The company’s newly launched H2-X Kung Fu Robot has garnered attention for its exceptional hardware motion control capabilities. At a recent industry conference, founder Wang Xingxing emphasized the significance of AI, predicting that embodied AI—where artificial intelligence is integrated into physical systems—is on the verge of a major breakthrough.

While Unitree has developed its own embodied large AI model and outlined a pre-research framework for the self-evolution of physical AI robots, it has yet to provide a practical demonstration of these self-developed AI achievements. Notably, the AI demonstration at the conference still relied on external large models rather than Unitree’s proprietary technology.

Given the competitive landscape, Unitree’s hardware advantages may prove difficult to sustain over the long term. The true test for the company will be whether its self-developed AI can be translated into versatile execution capabilities that are adaptable to real-world, complex scenarios. This challenge will be crucial in determining Unitree’s future growth and success.
