Researchers have successfully developed an advanced artificial intelligence model, dubbed FAHR-Face, which has been meticulously trained on a vast dataset comprising over 40 million facial images. This cutting-edge model is capable of not only estimating an individual's biological age based on facial photos but also discerning potential health risks, including the mortality risk among cancer patients. Research findings indicate that the disparity between the biological age projected by the model and the individual's chronological age is independently linked to survival prognosis. During testing phases, it was observed that patients whom the model flagged as being at a heightened risk of mortality indeed exhibited a higher actual propensity for fatality. The model maintains consistent performance across diverse shooting conditions, and the majority of cosmetic surgeries do not notably skew the results. Presently, the research team has initiated an online study that is accessible to the general public, wherein volunteers can upload their photos to obtain assessment results grounded in scientific research.
