As per an announcement made on October 22, LG Innotek, a key subsidiary within the LG Group, has entered into a partnership with NVIDIA. The collaboration aims to co-develop perception solutions tailored for embodied artificial intelligence (a term often used interchangeably with physical AI, emphasizing AI that interacts with the physical world) and robotics technology. LG Innotek will contribute its expertise in camera modules, LiDAR, and radar fusion perception technologies. Meanwhile, NVIDIA will offer its Holoscan Sensor Bridge platform, which facilitates direct data links between sensors and graphics processors, thereby boosting real-time data processing efficiency. The duo intends to craft sensing solutions compatible with NVIDIA's upcoming platforms and will unveil these innovations to the public at CES and GTC next year.
