At the Invest in Germany Summit, German Chancellor Mertz engaged in a significant meeting with NVIDIA's CEO, Huang Renxun. During this event, they formalized their commitment by signing a memorandum of intent to forge a strategic partnership. This collaboration aims to synergize Germany's robust manufacturing capabilities with NVIDIA's cutting-edge AI technologies, propelling Germany to the forefront of the AI sector both within the EU and on the global stage. NVIDIA revealed that, as a cornerstone of its ambitious €9 billion (nearly $10 billion) investment initiative across Europe, it will allocate a substantial portion—amounting to billions of dollars—to Germany. This investment will primarily support four German AI startups operating in key sectors: robotics, healthcare, media audio, and aerospace. Furthermore, Siemens also disclosed a partnership with NVIDIA, with the shared goal of advancing AI-powered autonomous manufacturing technologies to streamline and enhance production processes.
