On October 16, Lee Wang-seop, the leader of the equity investment division at Hana Asset Management, expressed that as the AI boom permeates through a wider array of industries, capacitor makers and AI substrate manufacturers are poised to reap the benefits in the coming year. Moreover, he holds a positive outlook on renewable energy and energy storage firms, expecting a continuous upswing in demand for data center services. His investment strategy has broadened its scope from the semiconductor sector to encompass other parts of the AI supply chain. Lee Wang-seop forecasts that during a market upturn, shares of semiconductor materials, components, and equipment will outshine those of major memory chip producers. Concurrently, the net profit growth of numerous industries is projected to exceed the average level of KOSPI (Korea Composite Stock Price Index) constituent stocks in the upcoming year.
